This sermon was delivered in April of this year at both Southwestern Adventist University and at Collegedale Academy's 30-year reunion. David Gates is an Adventist Missionary whose miraculous work has been the subject of two books: Mission Pilot, and Mission Miracles, both available at the ABC. He is an ordained pastor as well as a pilot and has degrees in nursing, computer programming, and business. He is also president of Gospel Ministries International, an Adventist mission ministry.

This sermon should be listened to by EVERY Seventh-day Adventist. Although it is a bit long at over 2 hours, it is very much worth it. Brother Davis lays out his case with evidence and conviction that we are in the final moments of earth's history. We have all heard these type of sermons, but never one with such eye-opening revelations about how close we really are. This sermon could not have been preached 20, 10, or even 5 years ago. NOTE: It should be pointed out that the unfortunate statements about the authority of Ellen White's writings quoted in this sermon are not actually from the resolution that the General Conference Session voted on in 2005. These statements are from a church official commenting on the resolution and quoted in an official church media outlet. While the comments were unfortunate, we must be reminded that they were not in the resolution itself and thus the church officials did not vote to endorse such comments. We want to be careful in every detail here, so we thought it was important to point this out. We feel this was an oversight on the part of brother Davis and that the sermon is still loaded with information that all Seventh-day Adventists need to hear.

Suppose Jesus is coming in the next 5 years. Consider this GREAT news that you got a clear view at all of the warning signals before it was too late. But what if He comes in 18 or 20 years? That's STILL great news, because it gives you a chance to really MAKE A DIFFERENCE between now and then and "redeem the time," as the Word says. If you are anything like me, you have done far less than you could have in bringing souls to Christ. Now is the time to re-commit ourselves as messengers to a dying world and give up all for the 3 Angels Messages.
